Why We Begin With Your Feet
Watch someone step off a long flight, or out of a long week, and you can see it: the body arrives before the person does. The shoulders land first, then the breath, and last of all — sometimes hours later — the mind.
The feet are the shortcut. They carry the day's full weight and are the first to know when it lifts. Warm water, mineral salts, and slow reflex-point work send a simple message up through the whole body: you can put it down now.
This is why nearly every ritual at Soulé begins with a foot bath. It isn't a warm-up. It is the doorway — the moment the nervous system agrees to come inside with you.
Thirty minutes of footwork can change the temperature of an entire day. We have watched it happen, quietly, on the edge of the South China Sea, more times than we can count.
